Nursery Meals

The nursery provides breakfast, lunch and tea. All meals are cooked on the premises and were devised under the guidance of a NHS dietician to ensure good nutritional content. Special diets can be catered for.

The nursery practitioners sit with the children at mealtimes to encourage quiet conversation which makes them a social and happy time and helps promote good eating habits.

A typical daily menu is as follows:

Breakfast: Weetabix, cornflakes or rice crispies - toast - milk or water

Lunch: Chicken, rice and mixed vegetables - fresh fruit - water

Tea: Vegetable soup - bread - fresh fruit - milk or water
